Encaustic art is what you will find in this working studio, located in the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. Danielle Fontaine blends her training as an architect, writer and photographer with a two-thousand-year-old encaustic method of hot wax painting to create pictorial memoirs. The results are unique – something new to discover! Danielle is French Canadian and has resided in Greenville since 1999. She loves being surrounded by fifteen other studios who also open their doors to Greenville’s art lovers every First Friday.
